What's Closed in Shelby and Utica for Christmas and New Year's?

To help you plan your trips out and about over the next two weeks, we've found the schools and government offices closed for the holidays.

As if the malls and roads weren't crowded enough, vacation days are coming for thousands in the next two weeks.

Here are the schools, government offices and recreation venues you can expect to close this week and next for the holidays:

  • Closed Dec. 23-Jan. 2
  • (A drop box for December taxes, will be located in the police station)

  • Closed Dec. 23-24
  • The library will repopen Dec. 28, 29, with special hours, 9 a.m. to 3  p.m.
  • Closed Dec. 30-31

  • (Tax drop off box will be located inside the Utica police station)
