24 Mile-Schoenherr Traffic Signal Zapped by DTE Cable

The signal is expected to be out until after 12 midnight.

The traffic signal at 24 Mile and Schoenherr in Shelby Township stopped working Thursday afternoon after being hit by an overhead DTE Energy cable, according to the Macomb County Department of Roads.

The signal is expected to be out until after 12 midnight.

Stop signs were placed at the intersection, which is to be treated as a four-way stop. Macomb County Department of Roads crews are on the scene.
