911 Call Released from Tank Spotted in Shelby Township on the Fourth of July

Officials are investigating a group who were driving a World War II-era vehicle and firing a replica machine gun on the Fourth of July.

Charges have not yet been brought against any of the three individuals who were driving an antique World War II-era military vehicle, and firing a replica machine gun, on Erma Street in Shelby Township on the Fourth of July.

According to investigators, the group were riding in the vehicle and firing the mounted replica .50 caliber heavy machine gun was modified to fire compressed gas, which emitted a bright flash accompanied with loud realistic gunfire sounds. 

Police released 911 calls placed to Shelby Township to WXYZ-TV, which posted the calls on the station's website. According to the story, officers from Shelby Township and neighboring departments responded to the calls.
