I'm not surprised. People around here drive way too fast! I call them "Fire Breathing Soccer Moms"! Slow down ladies, please!

I wonder if these new "smart" lights had anything to do with it? There has been a rise in accidents at intersections were these are installed in the township. I've seen huge number of near misses myself, not too mention huge traffic backups since they've been installed.

The lights are all too confusing. They need one system and stick to it at all intersections. Nd raise the driving age

The timing change for East-West traffic at 22/23 mile & Van Dyke to the shorter cycle is rediculous. They are set to give just enough time for the waiting traffice to clear... any normal approaching car would expect the light to stay green awile longer... but nope it changes.. I have startedd to IGNORE going through Shelby because of their fubar stop light timing.

Same exact problem at 25 Mile Rd, and Schoenherr! It's really bad for traffic on 25 Mile Road. I contacted Macomb County to report the problem, they said there was no problem at all I call B.S.! I'm thinking the programmer must travel that route frequently, maybe in rush hour, and has programmed them in his favor.

Wasted Taxpayers Money Those lights are a pain everywhere you go, all I can say is some company sure made out selling the useless things to all three counties (so far).
