UPDATE: New Evidence Links Suspect to Mount Clemens Murder
A man who was arrested in June for allegedly assaulting a victim before he was found stabbed to death was arraigned on second-degree murder charges.
A man who was arrested in June for allegedly assaulting a victim before the victim was found stabbed to death inside of his Mount Clemens apartment was arraigned on second-degree murder charges today.
Chiumbo Kamau Henry, 34, of Mount Clemens was re-arrested Tuesday arraigned on the charges by Magistrate Goulette of the 41B District Court. Henry received a $1,000,000 cash surety bond.
Kenneth Lee Jones, 48, was found stabbed to death in his apartment at 189 Cass Avenue on June 26.

Henry was arrested later that day for an alleged attack on the victim on May 8. He was arrested and charged with assault in 41B District Court. A $500 bond was set.
The Macomb County Sheriff's Department said detectives arrested Henry after they uncovered new information from interviews and evidence sent to the Michigan State Police Crime Lab.
