Man Admits Jealousy Lead Him to Key Vehicle
A Shelby Township man admitted to police that he keyed the vehicle of his wife's coworker at because he was jealous the man and his wife had become friends, Utica police said in a report.
Scott Hartline, 37, admitted to the Aug. 11 crime and was booked on charges of malicious destruction of property. He was released after posting a personal bond.
Estimated damage to the vehicle is nearly $750.
Police: Man High on Marijuana Drives 90 MPH Down Hall Road
A 22-year-old Shelby Township man was pulled over just after midnight Monday for driving more than 90 miles an hour down Hall Road, Utica police said.
The man was stopped for speeding, but once he opened the window, the officer could smell unburned marijuana in the vehicle.
One to two ounces of marijuana was confiscated and the man was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, his vehicle was impounded and a speeding ticket was issued.
