Man Found Passed Out at Hall Road Intersection; Police Find Drugs, Paraphernalia

A 22-year-old Fraser man was arrested last Sunday night in Utica on charges of operating while under the influence of drugs.
Utica police officers found the man passed out behind the wheel of his Jeep Cherokee at the intersection on Hall Road and Schoenherr roads.
According to a police report, the man was slurring his speech and admitted to taking some prescription drugs that had made him drowsy.

During a search of the vehicle, officers found a drug scale with marijuana residue, empty medical marijuana prescription pill bottles, 15 Adderall pills, Mason jars with marijuana residue, a grinder full of marijuana, a vaporizer and a marijuana bud under the seat.
Police said the man had a medical marijuana card, but it had expired just three days before the incident. Also, he was driving on a suspended license.

The man was transported to Troy Beaumont Hospital for a toxicology report and then booked at the Utica police station until he sobered up.
His vehicle was also impounded.
