Overdue on Child Support? Macomb County Officials Say Pay Up Now or Face Arrest

Macomb County residents with outstanding bench warrants for overdue child support payments are encouraged to pay up by Dec. 10 or face arrest.

The Macomb County Sheriff and Circuit Court are giving individuals who are overdue on their child support payments fair warning to either pay up by next week or face arrest.

Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham and Chief Circuit Court Judge David Viviano annouced Wednesday that their offices would be conducting a four-day sweep in an effort to arrest those who are delinquent on their child support payments and have outstanding bench warrants.

Sheriff Wickersham’s Friend of the Court Enforcement Unit will devote extra resources to identifying and contacting these individuals from Dec. 10 through Dec. 13.
