Shelby Township Crime Report: Man Reported Carrying Gun Down Street; Catalytic Converters Stolen; Homes Broken Into

The following information was taken from Shelby Township Police Reports posted on CRIMEDAR.com.

Man Carrying Gun Down Street

On Saturday morning around 5:50 a.m., a driver on Robinwood notified the Shelby Township Police Department of a white male walking eastbound down the street carrying a long gun. Police reported it as an Airsoft pellet gun.

On two separate occasions, callers reported to the Shelby Township Police that someone had stolen the catalytic converters from their automobiles. Both were removed on Saturday; one from a car parked outside Art Van Furniture on Hall Road and the other was taken from a vehicle parked outside of Logan’s Restaurant, also on Hall Road. The incidents both occurred around 10 p.m. 

Home Invaded While Owners Vacation

A homeowner on Whispering Oaks Lane reported to Shelby Township police on Thursday that someone broke a window and stole some items while they vacationed. They had been out of the home since Tuesday. Various items were missing from outside the home. 

Apartments Entered

A resident of the Roma Valley Circle apartments reported to Shelby Township police that  she observed three subjects enter another apartment through the window on July 17.  Later, the same people entered another apartment through a window. The caller described the invaders as two heavy-set black males.
