Shelby Township Teen Arrested for Intent to Deliver Marijuana, Ecstasy

A 17-year-old Shelby Township resident was arrested Feb. 20 after Macomb County sheriff's deputies found him and a second teen in possession of scales and a bag filled with marijuana and MDMA, also known as ecstasy.

Deputies stopped the teens' vehicle for suspicious behavior shortly after 10 p.m. Feb. 20 in Washington Township.

Smelling burnt marijuana in the vehicle, officers conducted a search and found marijuana under the driver's seat and in a drawstring bag in the backseat that also contained scales and MDMA, according to the sheriff's report.
