Shelby Township Teen Reportedly Tasered at Addison Oaks

A Shelby Township teenager attending a party at an Oakland County park was allegedly tasered after she fled from sheriff's deputies.

A 17-year-old Shelby Township girl was tasered after an alleged altercation with an Oakland County Sheriff's deputy in Addison Oaks County Park, according to a story posted on Clarkstonnews.com.

The teen was attending a bon fire on June 30 when deputies were called. The girl, who reportedly had a blood alcohol content of .217 percent, wandered off while deputies questioning the group at the party.

The story stated the girl was located, and as she was being escorted to a patrol car, she is alleged to have taken off running. She was tasered and arrested, according to the story.
