VIDEO: Police Auction Turns Treasure Trove for Some

Satisfied customers count their deals after attending the Shelby Township police auction Saturday.

The Shelby Township Police Department held its annual auction Sept. 17 at the police headquarters on 24 Mile and Van Dyke roads.

More than 25 vehicles, some luxury and in good condition and others wrecked, along with more than 60 miscellaneous items such as digital cameras and iPods were sold.

The police department hoped to make more than $30,000 from the auction. To see a list of the items sold, .
