Washington Township Bank Robbed 2nd Time in Month

Investigators believe bank robberies may be related.

The Macomb County Sheriff's Department is investigating a bank robbery in Washington Township.

Investigators said a man entered the Best Bank at 64660 Van Dyke around 2:50 p.m. and handed the teller a handwritten note demanding cash. The man fled the bank with an undetermined amount of cash.

, and investigators said in a news release that they believe the robberies may be related.

The thief is described as an older white man with grey hair. Witnesses said he was wearing glasses.
