Christmas and New Year's Holidays Delay Shelby Township Trash Collection
There will be no rubbish collection or recycling on Tuesday, Dec. 25, 2012 or Jan. 1, 2013, pushing pick-up back one day for the remainder of the week.
Nearly all Shelby Township residents will see their trash collection delayed a day due to the Christmas and New Year's holidays.
There will be no rubbish collection or recycling on Christmas Day, Tuesday, Dec. 25, or New Year's Day, Tuesday, Jan. 1. Because of this, all normally scheduled pickups from Tuesday through Friday will be delayed by one day.
- If your normal pickup is Tuesday, you will be picked up on Wednesday.
- If your normal pickup is Wednesday, you will be picked up on Thursday.
- If your normal pickup is Thursday, you will be picked up on Friday.
- If your normal pickup is Friday, you will be picked up on Saturday.
Residents schedueld for Monday pickups will not be affected.
