Chuck Stadler defeated Jerome George Quinn in the Democratic District 10 congressional primary, winning 61 percent of the vote. He will challenge incumbent GOP U.S. Rep. Candice S. Miller for her House seat in November.
Stadler received 8,051 votes to Quinn's 5,145 with all 142 precincts reporting.
Miller, who ran uncontested for the Republican nomination, is currently serving her fifth term after being first elected to office in 2002.
The District 10 House seat will be decided in the Nov. 6 general election.
