Lund, Murphy Advance to Nov. 6 Elections For District 36 State Rep.

Republican Pete Lund and Democrat Robert Murphy will advance to the Nov. 6 elections for State Representative.

At the state House level, 74.5 percent or 8,572 voters from District 36 choose Republican incumbent over his Republican counterpart Tadd Siglow.

Of the two Democratic candidates running, Robert Murphy beat out Brian Senia with 70.9 percet or 1,845 votes to Senia's 759 or 29.1 percent of the votes.  

Lund and Senia's names will appear on the Nov. 6 ballot.

District 36 covers Bruce Township, Romeo, Washington Township and the western and northern sections of Shelby Township.
