UPDATE: Power Restored to Most in Shelby, Utica and Macomb

Power has been restored in Shelby Township, Utica and Macomb Township after high winds left nearly 3,000 in the dark.

UPDATE 12 A.M. APRIL 17: Power has been restored to the nearly 2,963 customers in Shelby Township, Utica and Macomb Township that were left in the dark Monday afternoon due to high winds. 

The National Weather Service had issued a wind advisory until Monday at 8 p.m. The advisory stated that downed tree limbs and power outages were possible with winds gusting up to 50 mph.
