Shelby Township to Upgrade Video Recording System

Shelby Township will make it easier for folks at home to watch the Board of Trustees meeting on TV and online.

With more than $50,000 in new video recording equipment, comments made during the Shelby Township Board meeting should no longer sound fuzzy or garbled for residents watching at home.

The township has agreed to shell out $54,155 to purchase all new video recording equipment. The purchase includes four new cameras, a camera control unit and a tricaster switcher.

Six bids were received but Advanced Lighting and Sound was the lowest bidder.
