Eisenhower's School Spirit Led to Friday Night's Win

Friday morning, beginning at 5:30 AM, students began piling into the gymnasium for a pep assembly that starred on Local 4 News' "Friday Football Frenzy" program.

You would never think that a high-school student would wake up at such an early time on a Friday morning to go to school.

On Friday morning, 11/11/11, some of the Eisenhower student body came to school at 5:30 to start the day, showing their school spirit that later paid off in the game that was played last night.

With receiving the majority of this week's votes from their website's online poll, the Channel 4-WDIV News station came to Eisenhower as well, with this being WDIV's last "Friday Football Frenzy" event for the year, broadcasting all the excitement and energy present in the gymnasium.

The pep assembly, sponsored by Eisenhower Student Council, helped the Eagle's pull off the victory last night at Swinehart field against Walled Lake Central, with the final score being 38-21.
