'Cyber Junkie' Author to Speak at Focus Support Group Meeting

Focus, a support group for parents, caregivers and educators who deal with children who have ADD or ADHD, holds monthly meetings that are free and open to the public.

On Dec. 12 Focus welcomes Kevin Roberts, M.A., author of Cyber Junkie: Escape the Internet and Gaming Trap, who wil discuss online and video gaming addictions. Roberts is a recovering video game addict and adult diagnosed with ADHD. He has a master's degree in ADHD studies from Antioch University and runs support groups to help addicts get their lives back. Roberts is also a co-founder, board member and curriculum developer of The Empower ADD Project, www.empoweradd.org, a nonprofit that guides young ADHD adults. Roberts will sign copies of his book at the meeting.
