Deputies from the Macomb County Sheriff's Office Tuesday are searching for a runaway who took his parent's car, rifle and ammunition.
According to Macomb County Sheriff Anthony Wickersham, police contacted the Shelby Junior High to see if the "young man" was in school, and inform the principal that the child was a runaway.
While investigators were not able to locate him, Wickersham said he is not a "threat to anybody."
