Students Dress Like Scary Animals to Raise Funds For Abandon Animals

Switzer Elementary School students dress up on Halloween to raise money for abandoned animals.

students make frightful deal on Halloween with teachers to raise funds for abandoned or displaced pets.

Teachers and students are encouraged to dress up as an animal on Halloween and participate in kid-friendly version of Lets Make a Deal. The children buy tickets for 50 cents and will be selected by a random draw to play and win a gift card.

All the profits will be donated to the Animal Welfare Society of Southeastern Michigan. AWS is a nonprofit charitable organization dedicated to giving pets a
second chance in life. Pets that are displaced from their current homes
or are abandoned are placed in good homes. AWS also has an Indigent

The fundraiser will begin at the start of the bell Oct. 31.
