A database published in Center for Michigan's Bridge Magazine shows how school districts in Shelby and Utica compare with state-wide averages when it comes to teacher education and salary, pupil-teacher ratios and other categories. 

The database is part of the magazine's "Building a better teacher" series, which includes articles on teaching in Canada and the state's teacher education and certification process.
