It's Children's Appreciation Day at area Metroparks. Today kids can learn all about "Creepy Critters" at Stony Creek Metropark Nature Center.
Children will learn about insects, spiders and reptiles. here will be games, crafts and kids can try to guess the date that the snapping turtle eggs will hatch and win a prize. Plus kids can pet some critters in the exhibits. Even is free with vehicle entry permit ($5 for the day, if you don't have an annual pass).
