Easter Seals' Hightail It for Heroes Run

Hightail It for Heroes is a certified and chip timed 5k and 10k paved path race hosted at Stony Creek Metro Park in Shelby Township.  Hightail It For Heroes has been recognized as a quality physical activity event by the Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness.  Participants who race in Hightail It For Heroes will be entered into a lottery to participate n the following year's Labor Day Mackinac Bridge Run/Walk.  Event fees and proceeds benefit the many programs of Easter Seals Michigan (ESM).  Easter Seals is honored to recognize all heroes in our communities - active and retired armed services personnel, police officers, fire fighters, paramedics, EMTs, the people we serve and other heroes in our community who help us fulfill our mission to to serve and support people with disabilities and their families so they can successfully live, learn, work and play in their communities.
