Travel Back in Time with a Historical Encampment at Stony Creek

Stony Creek Metropark is hosting a two-day "War in the Wilderness," a large encampment of historical re-enactors representing British and French military, and Woodland Indians of the 1750s and 1760s.

Visitors will be transported back in time to the 18th century as they explore military camps, a Woodland Indian Village and shop at historical vendors selling things pertinent to the time.

Camp hours are 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.
