Metropark Beaches, Pools, Spraygrounds Open for Memorial Weekend
The swimming pools, beaches and spraygrounds at Lake St. Clair Metropark and Stony Creek Metropark will all be open by Saturday, May 26.
If hitting the beach is in your Memorial Day plans, you won't have to travel far to enjoy the sun and surf this weekend.
The swimming beach Lake St. Clair Metropark, formerly Metro Beach, and Eastwood Beach at are open already, with Stony Creek's Baypoint Beach scheduled to open Saturday, May 26.
The swimming pool and "Squirt Zone" spraygrounds at Lake St. Clair will also open Saturday.

A vehicle entry permit is required to enter any Metropark and is $25 annually for regular admission, $15 annually for seniors or $5 daily.
July 4 Fireworks Preview
A fireworks display will be held at Stony Creek metroparks on July 1 at 10 p.m.

A $10 special event daily vehicle permit is required after 5 p.m. for all fireworks events. Admission is free with an annual permit.
