And the Emmy goes to...UCS grad

A Utica Community Schools graduate is already leaving a mark on Hollywood.

Jeremy Jozwik, a 2001 Graduate of Eisenhower High School, won an Emmy for Outstanding Special Visual Effects in a Supporting Role this year.

The Emmy was awarded for the pilot of Banshee, which airs on Cinemax.

Jozwik, whose resume also includes various animation work, was involved in teachers Patrick Packan's architecture program and Jenifer Ramirez's Art program as a high school student.

"Jeremy was a respectful young man who knew what he wanted to do," Packan said. "It was a pleasure to have him as a student."
