Henry Ford II gets All Shook Up this weekend

Henry Ford II presents Elvis Presley-based musical this weekend

Combining all-time favorite Elvis Presley songs with a surefire rock’n’roll story, ALL SHOOK UP, the musical that took Broadway by storm, will ride into the Henry Ford II High School Performing Arts Center December 6-9, 2012.

An uproarious new musical comedy featuring the unforgettable hits of Elvis Presley, ALL SHOOK UP is loosely based on William Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night", and tells the story of a guitar playing roustabout, Chad, who rides into a struggling square Midwest town and changes it forever with the power of love and rock-and-roll. This whacky ‘50s styled musical features 24 Presley classic hit songs including "Heartbreak Hotel", "Burning Love", "Jailhouse Rock", "Blue Suede Shoes", "It's Now or Never", "Don't Be Cruel" and "Fools Rush In," ALL SHOOK UP is clever, fresh fun for all ages.

The cast of 40 is led by Director-Choreographer Mitchell A. Finke, Artistic and Technical Director Karen Trivelloni, Vocal Director Chancellor Wyman, Scenic Engineer Tom Lobkovich, and a team of student stage managers.
