Prospective idols invited to audition for annual event
Finalists can compete for a top award of $2,500
Attention Future Idols!
Auditions for the fifth annual Arts & Idols Scholarship Gala will be held
on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at the UCS Instructional Resource Center, 14201 Canal Road in Sterling Heights.
Prospective singing idols will audition a capella and, if selected, be able
to use a musical selection at the gala.

Idol finalists will earn cash prizes and compete for a top award of $2,500 at
the Arts & Idols Scholarship Gala on Thursday, May 30, 2013, at the Palazzo
Grande Banquet Center at 54660 Van Dyke, just south of 25 Mile Road in Shelby
Township.
All interested adults are invited to audition. Prospective idols must be a

The Arts & Idols Scholarship Gala is sponsored annually by the UCS
Foundation for Educational Excellence to raise funds for student scholarships.
Since its inception, the event has raised nearly $90,000 for Utica Community
Schools graduates.
