Students will be showcasing both 2D and 3D pieces, which include drawings in pencil, pastel, ink, paintings in tempera, acrylic, and oil, traditional and digital photography, short films, PSA's, video game design, fibers ranging in fashion to weavings, relief and in the round sculptures and newly made ceramic pieces.

In addition, the event will feature two rooms of live and silent auction pieces, as part of the annual Arts & Idols Gala. The live auction will occur as part of the opening reception and silent auction items will be available through the festival.

All funds raised from the auction pieces will support UCS art students and art department. The annual Arts & Idols Gala, scheduled this year for May 30 at the Palazzo Grande, has raised approximately $90,000 for the superintendent’s scholarship fund.

Last year, more than 10,000 patrons visited the art show. For more information, please see this link.
