Parents of students who will be kindergarten age can begin the 2012-2013 registration process for Utica Community Schools.
The district will be hosting its annual kindergarten open houses at each of its 25 elementary schools on Wednesday, February 15 at 7 p.m.
The open houses will give parents the opportunity to learn about the UCS kindergarten programs, meet teachers and building staff, and turn in registration forms.
Students are eligible for kindergarten if they turn five years old on or before December 1, 2012.
The district offers half-day and full day kindergarten programs, a Montessori kindergarten, and a full-day Mandarin Chinese immersion/traditional kindergarten program.
More kindergarten open house information and forms are now available on all UCS elementary schools and district Web sites.
