West Utica Elementary celebrates our veterans

School hosts 24th annual Veterans Day celebration of American heroes

West Utica Elementary held its 24th annual Veterans Day celebration to honor area residents who have served our country.

Military personnel from World War II through those currently serving in the armed forces were honored by the students in words and song.

"Without those who stood before us, the freedom that we have today would not be here," Principal Bradley Suggs told the students.

Attached to this article is a short video of the hour-long celebration.
