UCS students and staff support 200 charity drives this season

Utica Community Schools students are learning that charity can begin at school.

Nearly 200 charities are being supported by UCS schools this season. Each school community in UCS is hosting multiple charity drives throughout the holiday season.

“Students, staff and parents in Utica Community Schools give generously to our local charities, especially during this time of year,” Superintendent Dr. Christine M. Johns said. “I’m proud of the citizenship and concern for others our entire school community demonstrates on a regular basis.”
