Need Volunteers? Post an Announcement on Patch to Find Extra Hands

Summer is a prime time for community service, and in most cases, the more volunteers the better.

Whether its helping the Shelby Beautification Club clean up the township or volunteers to work a charity event, you can use Shelby-Utica Patch's Announcements section to call out for extra hands.

First, make sure you are a registered user of Shelby-Utica Patch (if you aren't, click on "Sign Up" in the top right corner of the home page). Once you are logged in, scroll to the bottom of the home page and, under "Contribute" on the right side, click "Announce something to everyone." 

In the announcement template, fill out all the fields and make sure you choose "Volunteers Needed" as the category. Tell us what needs to be done and who to contact. When you are done, you can add photos and video to spruce things up.

Then scroll to the bottom and click "Post my announcement." There you are! Post the link on your Facebook or Twitter and we'll do the same.

The Announcement section on Shelby-Utica Patch can be used for several different occasions from births to promotions to lost pets and everything in between. Simply choose the appropriate category in the drop-down menu.
