Utica Auto Shop Assists Habitat for Humanity

The community has come to help Habitat for Humanity after one of the organization's vehicles were vandalized.

A Utica auto shop recently donated services to fix a vandalized Macomb County Habitat for Humanity vehicle.

Tim's Complete Auto Maintenance in Utica offered to repair the 1999 Oldsmobile Silhouette van which had the catalytic converter stolen May 8.

The Utica auto shop offered to replace the stolen item, which was replaced by Doug’s Muffler in Clinton Township.

Tim's then stepped forward and donated over $1,700 in parts and labor for the van  including new brakes, brake lines, two control arms and a sway bar.

“We have been in business for 28 years and thought it was time to give back to the community that has supported us for so long,” said Tim Aeck, owner of Tim’s Complete Auto Maintenance, in a release.
