1. 3rd Annual Costume Party Fundraiser
- When: Saturday, Oct. 12, 6 p.m.
- Where: Knights of Columbus (44425 Utica Rd., Utica)
- What: The event features four kinds of international food, dessert bar, open bar, costume contest and silent auction. The George Brothers Band will be the entertainment.
2. 22nd Annual SouperBowl - Benefit for The Capuchin Soup Kitchen
- When: Sunday, Oct. 13, 12 noon to 7 p.m.
- Where: American Polish Century Club (33204 Maple Lane, Sterling Heights)
- What: Delicious soups will be served as well as breads and baked goods – all donated by Detroit area restaurants and bakeries. There will be raffles throughout the day and continuous live entertainment including the best Celtic bands, singers and Irish step dancers.
3. Shelby Township Fire Department Open House
- When: Saturday, Oct. 12, 10 a.m.
- Where: Shelby Township Fire Department headquarters (6345 23 Mile Rd., Shelby Township)
- What: Check out the bounce house and the educational trailer, visit with Sparky the dog, take a tour of the station and more.
