1. Utica High School Marching Band Restaurant Night

  • When: Thursday, Sept. 26, 5-9 p.m.
  • Where: Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt (21501 21 Mile Rd., Macomb Township)
  • What: You can enjoy a sweet treat while 20 percent of your purchase goes to support the Chieftains marching band. You can print out the attached flyer or show it at the register from your phone. Click here for more information.

2. Utica High School Band Boosters Used Instrument Sale

  • When: Saturday, Sept. 28, 8-11 a.m.
  • Where: Utica High School (27255 Shelby Rd., Utica)
  • What: The Booster Club hosts its 29th annual used instrument sale. If you have an instrument to sell, bring it to the Utica High band room. An appraiser will be available to assist you with pricing. Twenty percent of the selling price goes to support the Chieftains instrumental boosters. Click here for more information.

3. Local Author Signing

  • When: Saturday, Sept. 28, 11 a.m.
  • Where: Books Connection of Shelby (52924 Van Dyke Ave., Shelby Township)
  • What: Barb Norris is the author of "Mostly Maggie at Doggie Day Camp." You will get to meet her and talk with her about her experiences. Click here for more information.
