I USE to take my cats to see this vet until one became very ill. I took my cat to him because my cat was losing weight, bad breath, and was wheezing. The vet put him on an antibiotic and it did nothing! A week later, I called the vet and told him my cat needed blood work because I knew something else was going on with him. He quoted me an ASTRONIMICAL AMOUNT OF MONEY to get blood tests done! I set up the appointment and unfortunately, I was unable to take him in because of an urgent matter. Recently, I took my cat elsewhere because I was treating a rescue kitten at a local vet, and their rates were more reasonable. The tests were 1/2 the cost of Dr. Y. The results came back feline diabetes. I then decided that perhaps I should visit Dr Y because he has treated my cat since he was a kitten. I gathered the test results and visited him hear his potential treatment options. THIS MAN LITERALLY YELLED AT ME FOR NOT TAKING MY CAT TO HIM FOR BLOODWORK WOULD NOT EVEN LOOK AT THE PAPERWORK - SCOLDED ME AGAIN AND DENIED TREATMENT OR (SECOND OPINION) WHEN I'VE BEEN GOING TO THIS PRICK SINCE 2007. Bottom line: He took a personal issue with ME and set aside his professionalism and his duty to help animals. He denied treating my cat because he was PO'd he didn’t get $300 worth the tests done in his facility. Do not go to this man - he’s a money hungry jerk! He PUBLICALY YELLS at his wife too - real class act!
