A 19-year-old Shelby Township man accused of drunken driving is facing multiple felony charges after police say he lost control of his car and drove into another vehicle carrying a family of four Sunday in Chesterfield Township. Brandon Ostipow was arraigned Thursday in 42-2 District Court in New Baltimore on three counts of operating while intoxicated causing serious injury, three counts of operating with a suspended license causing injury, and one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle. While the unlawful use charge is a misdemeanor punishable by up to two years in jail, the other six counts are felony charges punishable by up to five years in jail each, according to police.
