ACO Hardware Stores Raise Funds for Gleaners

Purchase several Michigan-made brands at the Shelby Township store and the company donates a portion of the price to help feed needy families.

ACO Hardware is partnering with Gleaners Community Food Bank to raise funds that will help feed hungry families in Michigan. From now through Feb. 24, customers who purchase Faygo pop, Better Made snacks and Dearborn Brand sausage – all Michigan-made products – at ACO stores across Michigan will be helping Gleaners deliver millions of pounds of emergency food to soup kitchens, shelters and pantries in Wayne, Oakland, Macomb, Livingston and Monroe counties.  According to the ACO Hardware website, the company will donate 5 percent of the purchase price of each item sold to Gleaners.  There is one ACO store in Shelby Township, 52891 Shelby Rd.
