UCS students get College-Ready at Blitz

The UCS advised students to set a 'game-plan' for post-secondary education last Thursday at the 5th annual Academic Blitz

This past Thursday, several Utica Community Schools’ families came out to Henry Ford II High School for the 5th annual Academic Blitz.  While many students and families came to learn more about the future education programs in the school district, others came to get information from post-secondary education schools about financial aid, scholarships, and other helpful tools on how to apply for college. With another great success this year, the Superintendent Student Advisory Board is looking forward to planning another great event next year.

UCS holds 5th annual Academic Blitz Today

Utica Community Schools advises elementary, middle and senior high students about future education programs on how to excel in their personal curriculum at the Academic Blitz today.

"Get your head in the game" today for the 5th Annual Academic Blitz located at Henry Ford II High School, 11911 Clinton River Road in Sterling Heights.  While the Blitz is specifically targeted to parents of students in grades 6 through 10, the event is open to all parents interested in specific options available that ensure students are able to take full advantage of programs and services available to them in UCS and after graduation.  The evening will begin with an opening session featuring Dr. Bess German, Director of Admissions and Student Affairs at Michigan State University.
