Hilary Davis' new book is like a community family album. The book, Images of America: Shelby Township was released in December by Arcadia Publishing and features more than 200 images of the township from its early beginnings as a rural community to its current residential and commercial form. She describes the book as a "snapshot of history told through snapshots." She put it together by compiling the photographic history of Shelby Township. It required a variety of research techniques. From combing historical archives, to networking, to interviewing, to Googling, Davis did it all.
