As they say "can't fix stupid". 24 year old going on 14. Too bad he did't break his neck falling down the stairs with the bouncer (hope the bouncer is all right). It would be just one less azzwhole for people to deal with in their lives.   more ›

Money Stolen During St. Lawrence Catholic Church Break-in

Information in this crime brief was supplied by Utica police. Where arrest information may apply it does not indicate convictions.

An investigation is underway to determine who broke into a Catholic church and stole cash that was likely from Sunday Mass offerings, Utica police said Wednesday. The crime took place between Sunday night and early Monday morning at St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Utica Police Chief Dave Faber said. "Someone got into a back window and broke into the building," Faber said. "They got away with some cash." The undisclosed amount of cash was taken from safes inside the church office after the robber or robbers broke in through the school section of the building, he said. No suspects were known but police are exploring all possibilities. Anyone with information is asked to call Utica police.
