Local Restaurants Serving Specials for Marvelous Macomb Restaurant Week

The Hamlin Pub's two Shelby Township locations are among the Macomb County restaurants offering specials for the Marvelous Macomb Restaurant Week which runs through Saturday.

Diners in Utica and Shelby Township will have the chance to try a variety of dishes at local establishments during the Sterling Heights Regional Chamber of Commerce Marvelous Macomb Restaurant Week. Restaurants, including the two Hamlin Pub locations in Shelby Township, are running specials through Saturday, April 20, including:

Hamlin Pub charged us $.50 per drink for ice. The bill came at the end of the evening with $20 sucharge for ICE. Needless to say, we never went back. We laughed about it the next weekend at the club and told everyone about their policy. They have some twisted ideas of bilking customers.   more ›

Real Detroit Weekly Finds Best Bars, BBQ, Arcade in Shelby Township, Utica

Bad Brad's BBQ and Coyote Joe's were among several local businesses to make the Real Detroit's "Best in Metro 
Detroit" guide for 2013.

Looking for somewhere to watch the game? How about an independent gym to work off some winter weight? You'll find the best places to do both and a whole lot more in Shelby Township and Utica, according to Real Detroit Weekly. A weekly newspaper serving Metro Detroit, Real Detroit Weekly asks readers each year to nominate and vote for their favorite businesses in dozens of categories. The votes are tallied and each February, the "Best in Metro 
Detroit" guide is released. This year, businesses in Shelby Township and Utica snagged several of the top spots. Welcome to the first-ever Shelby-Utica Patch Summer Tour, where I'll be taking a trip around the cities and bringing my highlights live on Facebook and Twitter.

Shelby-Utica Patch Editor Marina Cracchiolo is going on her first-ever Patch Summer Tour. That’s right—rock stars aren’t the only ones who can go on tour. This tour is about getting out into the community—not for the purpose of playing rock and roll and inspiring a generation of hippies—but to experience the city with a fresh set of eyes.  I want to visit new businesses, attend a great community event and even get you more connected with your local state representatives.
