Easter Bunny to Arrive at Lakeside Mall Saturday

Peter Cottontail will be available for hugs and photos in the Food Court through March 30.

The Easter Bunny is in the building. Peter Cottontail will make his grand entrance Saturday, March 9, in the Food Court at Lakeside Mall. The floppy-eared Easter legend will be available for photos Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sundays from noon until 6 p.m. However, he will take periodic carrot breaks throughout the day. Shoppers can visit the Easter Bunny at the Food Court through March 30. Photo packages will be available for purchase. Lakeside is located in Sterling Heights at 14000 Lakeside Circle. Love Notes: Lakeside Mall Promos Mobile Sweepstakes for Valentine's

Shop For a Cause at Macy's This Saturday

Last-minute back-to-school shopping can help ensure more healthy babies by raising funds for the March of Dimes.

Shoppers that need to finish up some back-to-school buys or enjoy Macy’s incoming fall selections can enjoy special discounts while helping out a charitable cause this Saturday. The “Shop for a Cause” event held at participating Macy's locations, including Lakeside Mal, will benefit the March of Dimes, which aims reduce and prevent birth defects. The organization was founded initially in 1938 by President Franklin Roosevelt. Customers will be able to donate money to charity by purchasing a shopping pass, which will entitle them to enjoy discounts on most regular and clearance merchandise.
