The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), in partnership with the Michigan State Police (MSP), has posted a new safety video to the MDOT YouTube channel to help motorists understand speed limits in freeway work zones. "Working with our partners, we developed a sign strategy for improving safety along our freeways," said State Transportation Director Kirk T. Steudle, president of the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO). "These signs are designed to help save lives, but only if motorists do their part and drive responsibly."
