Macomb County is playing a big role in the automotive industry and this year's North American International Auto Show. The Car of the Year, the Cadillac ATS, was engineered and designed at the GM Tech Center in Warren. The Ram 1500, which is the Truck/Utility of the Year, was assembled at the Warren Truck Plant. “Macomb County has been well represented at the 2013 North American International Auto Show,” said Macomb County Executive Mark A. Hackel in a release. “We have always had a long and successful connection with the industry and continue to be committed to it, encouraging investment in facilities and infrastructure while also developing a skilled and educated workforce to lead the way as the field continues to grow and change.” …
