Stony Creek Announces 2013 Dates for Fireworks, Pancake Walk, Egg Scramble
Huron-Clinton Metroparks has released its 2013 events calendar, including dates for many of Stony Creek's most popular events.
The Fourth of July may seem ages away, but planning for Stony Creek Metropark's annual fireworks display is already underway, with the date for this and other popular events now set. Huron-Clinton Metroparks released its 2013 events calendar Wednesday, with two communitywide events set to take place at Stony Creek in the next few weeks. First up is the third annual Freeze Your Franny 5K on Jan. 26. Hosted by the Utica Education Association and Utica Paraprofessionals Association, the run/walk is held to promote wellness and raise money for local charities.
