The testing of wells in Central Park Subdivision, Westfalen, and Shelby Road (between Mound and Westfalen) showed no harmful chemicals. The testing of the water and soil at the site of the plant has been on-going. The last report on this phase of the testing revealed toxic chemicals including TCE and TCA . EDITOR'S PICKS: Top 10 Most Memorable Patch Moments of 2011

As the Editor of the Shelby-Utica Patch, I want to thank the community for helping me make the site a success. Now, here's a list of my Top 10 Most Memorable Moments with Patch.

While it's been just over a year since I launched the Shelby-Utica Patch, Dec. 23 to be exact, I have met so many wonderful people, covered great  triumphs for our little Macomb County jewels and had a blast doing it. I have tackled so many issues in the past year from the rollercoaster ride of Shelby Township politics to literally a rollercoaster ride down one of the world's largest inflatable slides at Stony Creek.  As a journalist and editor, there are just some stories that I have to run to get information out to the public because that's my job.  But then, there are those stories that get me so excited I can't stop talking about it to my friends and family and for whatever reason—be it fun, or the experience of meeting an incredible …
